Senior Account Manager
 
Description:

We are looking for experienced sales executives to play a key leadership role in managing existing client relationships and selling BIA’s services and solutions into the traditional and digital publishing and advertising arena, local advertising services, offline and online media and the financial services sectors.

Candidates must be polished, experienced self-starters and highly motivated. Relevant experience selling to traditional and emerging media companies financial services companies definitely preferred. Position is charged with closing and developing new business and maximizing revenue within targeted existing accounts. Must be able to perform against quota and excel in a highly competitive market.

Requirements:

  • Candidate will demonstrate a strategic and analytical sales approach with focus on building relationships with top tier prospects and clients.

  • Ability to develop and execute account plans for a designated sales territory to ensure retention while widening the product line or increasing the "share of client” to grow each client's revenue base.

  • A hunter with a proven track record of finding and developing new relationships.

  • 5 + years hands-on sales experience, of which 3 years experience in solution based sales, with proven track record in over-achieving quota.

  • Sharp analytical and creative mind to identify and evaluate potential new opportunities.

  • Experience selling to high-level executives in a highly competitive environment.

  • Strong knowledge of the local offline and digital advertising sector including general media and financial service industries.

  • Ability to prepare sales presentations and effectively deliver them to a senior audience in a way that generates next action steps.

  • Technical aptitude - must be able to learn data products to effectively communicate and demonstrate them.

  • Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Availability to travel throughout North America at least 20% of the time.
